A leading health system is seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon to assist with facilities in Dutchess County, NY. New grads are encouraged to apply! There is an excellent opportunity for a partnership working at this practice. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Diagnosis: Evaluating patients' symptoms, medical history, and diagnostic tests (like MRI or X-rays) to determine the cause of spinal issues.

2. Treatment Planning: Developing personalized treatment plans based on the severity of the condition, patient's overall health, and individual needs. This may involve surgical or non-surgical interventions.

3. Surgical Procedures: Performing a variety of surgical procedures to address spinal conditions, such as spinal fusion, decompression surgeries, disc replacement, and minimally invasive procedures.

4. Postoperative Care: Providing comprehensive care and monitoring patients following surgery, including pain management, rehabilitation, and ensuring proper healing.

5. Collaborative Care: Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, pain management specialists, and neurologists, to ensure coordinated care for patients.

6. Research and Education: Staying updated on advancements in spinal surgery techniques and participating in research to improve treatment outcomes. They may also educate patients, medical students, and residents about spinal conditions and treatment options.
