Bookkeeper - Garden City, NY
The Bookkeeper will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health by performing a variety of accounting tasks. Key responsibilities include:
- Payroll Management: Process payroll using ADP, ensuring timely and accurate payroll operations.
- QuickBooks Proficiency: Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks, including reconciling all front desk payments from two facilities.
- Procurement Software: Work with ENVI or Hybrant to reconcile payments and upload invoices into QuickBooks.
- Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile monthly bank statements against QuickBooks, ensuring completion by the 5th of each month.
- Banking Operations: Oversee banking activities and manage the banking platform efficiently.
- Electronic Fund Transfers (EFT): Record all EFT transactions accurately.
- Positive Pay Management: Upload all checks to positive pay and reconcile any issues daily.
- ACH Payments: Process ACH payments promptly and accurately.
- Travel: Must be able to travel between the two facilities to ensure all financial operations are consistent and accurate.
