X-Ray Technologist- Stony Brook, NY

Spine Serch is seeking highly motivated Diagnostic Technologists to fill multiple openings at a leading medical center in Stony Brook, NY.

***There are multiple shift times available for these positions and new grads are encouraged to apply***

Responsibilities: 

• Perform X-Ray procedures at a technical level
• Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures, as required
• Transfers and positions, provides immobilization devices to produce diagnostic imaging
• Conduct periodic quality control tests
• Assist the physician in the administration of opaque media
• Follows facilities policies and protocols
• Processes films, performs QA to images and facilitates in the delivery of images/exams to the file room and PAC's system for dictation

Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma and be a graduate of an accredited radiology program
• Licensed by the state of NY in Diagnostic Radiology
• ARRT Registration
• BLS or ability to obtain one
• 1 year of experience is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
