X-Ray Tech - Carmel, NY

The X-Ray Tech will perform diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing patient conditions. The role involves operating X-ray equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during exams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray and other imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Operate X-ray equipment and adjust settings as necessary to obtain high-quality images.
• Assist physicians in reviewing images and diagnosing patient conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Travel to satellite offices in Mt. Kisco, Newburgh, and Fishkill as needed to support coverage.
• Provide excellent patient care, addressing patient concerns and explaining procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in New York State as an X-Ray Technologist.
• Open to hiring new graduates.
• C-Arm experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be willing to travel to multiple office locations as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4 pm.
