Physician Assistant (Spine) - Palm Beach County, FL

SpineSearch is seeking to fill an opening for a Physician Assistant to join a leading orthospine practice based in Palm Beach County, Florida. New grads encouraged to apply!

Position is full time, Monday through Friday - offers a competitive salary based on experience, comprehensive benefits, and room for growth.

Requirements of the Physician Assistant:

• Master's Degree
• Florida Physician Assistant license
• Board certification
• Experience in neuro, spine, ortho or related specialty highly preferred

Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant:

• Conducts physical exams, assesses health status, orders, and interprets tests, prescribes medications, and treats illnesses including giving injections.
• Take a patient’s medical history/record demographics
• Order and interpret tests
• Conduct physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat illnesses
• Write prescriptions
• Counsel patients on preventative care
• Involves both seeing patients pre and post op in outpatient clinic and first assisting in the OR
