Physician Assistant (Spine) -NY Metro

Spine Search is seeking a full time physician assistant to join a fast growing spine and pain practice at multiple locations in the NY metro area which including NYC, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronxm and 1-2 days a month in NJ.

This is an outpatient clinic with some OR working M-F with variable hours. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history review and physical examinations focused on spine and pain-related issues.
2. Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging studies and nerve conduction tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
3. Collaborate with pain management physicians or spine surgeons to develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management, interventional procedures, and rehabilitation strategies.
4. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, coordinating care with other healthcare providers as necessary.
5. Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current NY licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• Certification or experience in spine care preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience, preferably in pain management or orthopedics.
• Proficiency in conducting physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and performing procedural assistance.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
