Physician Assistant Neurosurgery CT

SpineSearch is currently seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join a renowned medical group in their neurosurgical department, in Manchester Connecticut.

Requirements of the Physician Assistant:

• Physician Assistant License
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of neurosurgery experience, 1st Assist in OR preferred

Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant:

• Take a patient’s medical history/record demographics
• Order and interpret tests
• Conduct physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat illnesses
• Write prescriptions
• Assist in surgeries
• Complete invasive procedures
• Counsel patients on preventative care
• Explain treatment and care plans for both pre-op and post op
• Proficient knowledge in certain specialty
