Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery

Responsibilities:

• Provide care in an outpatient setting, managing post-op and follow-up clinics.
• Assist with surgical schedule management, patient education, and heavy clinic duties.
• Perform pre-op and post-op care.
• Cover for the NP during rounds as needed.
• Participate in a 1:5 call rotation.
• Collaborate with a team of 4 PAs and 1 inpatient NP.
• Coordinate closely with the attending physician, who will occasionally be present in the clinic.

Qualifications:

• Must have either neurosurgery or surgical experience.
• Will consider NPs due to the presence of residents.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of Louisiana.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, full-time.
