Physician Assistant (Interventional Radiology)- Bronx, NY

Spine Search is seeking a motivated physician assistant to join a leading hospital's radiology department on a full time basis. This provider will work directly under experienced interventional radiologists and assist with supervision.

Responsibilities: 

• Write orders, order and interpret lab results, assist nursing personnel as necessary
• Provide support to Interventional Radiologist and other radiology professionals
• Perform phsyical exams, record patient history, triage imaging orders
• Respond promptly to nursing requests for routine procedures (phlembotomy, IV line insertion, nasogastric tube insertion, blood gas drawing and basic EKG tracing and reading
• Effectively utilizes the hospital computer system 
• Follow hospital policies and protocols 
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment 

Requirements: 

• Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology experience preferred
• PA Certification, Board Certification 
• Bachelors Required, Masters preferred
