PA/NP - Fort Worth, TX

SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for assisting supervising physician in surgery but will also provide patient
care in a clinic setting for pre- and post- operative patients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acts as First Assist in surgery at various facilities.
• Performs history and physical examinations, formulation of care plans, ordering and interpreting laboratory and
• diagnostic tests and provides education to patients and their families.
• Document clinical encounters clearly, precisely and in a timely manner.
• Works in a collaborative relationship with other health professionals to determine health needs of patient and
• families. Demonstrates and role models an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to patient care.
• Required to follow HIPAA and OSHA compliance guidelines at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Monday - Friday; possible work on weekends for emergency cases. Surgery on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday starting around 7am; in clinic Wednesday and Friday starting at 8am.
