Nurse Practitioner (Pain Management)- New York, NY

SpineSearch is currently working with a private practice specializing in pain management in need of a Nurse Practitioner to join their team. 

This position is Monday-Friday, full time, with comprehensive benefits and an opportunity to grow in your career

Responsibilities: 

• Basic knee injections 
• Trigger point injections
• Managing IV influsions
• Seeing new patient with the doctor as well as seeing follow ups independently
• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to diagnose and develop treatment plans for chronic pain conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, including analgesics and adjuvant medications, in accordance with state regulations and practice guidelines.
• Provide patient education on pain management techniques, including lifestyle modifications, physical therapy, and alternative therapies.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient response and changes in condition.

Requirements: 

• Pain management experience is preferred
• Needs valid DEA and NYS license 
• Good commmunication skills
• PA license from accredited program and board certification
