NP/PA - Westchester NY, Stamford CT, NYC
The NP/PA will be responsible for assisting physician in both clinical and surgical settings. The role involves a mix of outpatient clinic work, operating room assistance, and occasional travel to NYC for specialized clinics. The ideal candidate will have a background in a surgical office, preferably in neuro, spine, ENT, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct outpatient clinic sessions in Westchester four days per week.
- Assist in the operating room in Stamford one day per week.
- Travel to NYC clinic twice per month for specialized consultations.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with Dr. Costantino.
- Assist in preoperative and postoperative patient care.
- Coordinate diagnostic testing and follow-up care.
- Provide patient education and support, ensuring understanding of conditions and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- For PA: Valid NYS PA license and certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- For MA: Certification as a Medical Assistant with relevant clinical experience.
- Surgical office background preferred, especially in neuro, spine, ENT, or a related surgical field.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel between Westchester, Stamford, and NYC as required.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
