Neurosurgery PA

Position Details: This full-time opportunity offers a dynamic role in a busy private practice working alongside five surgeons, three PAs, and one APRN. The practice collaborates with Danbury and Norwalk hospitals to deliver exceptional neurological care.

Responsibilities:

• Office work: seeing patients, consulting, and providing follow-ups

• Making hospital rounds, assisting in surgeries, and working independently

• Rotating on-call duties one weekend per month (if one PA is hired; every sixth weekend if two are hired). On-call includes rounds, taking calls, and assisting in surgeries.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM

• Rotating weekend on-call schedule among the PAs on staff

Qualifications:

• Neurological experience required; the practice is open to training the right candidate

• Must be willing to travel between Norwalk and Danbury, CT

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
