CNIM Technologist - NY/NJ
The CNIM Technologist will provide intraoperative neuromonitoring during surgical procedures to help protect the nervous system and enhance patient safety. This role involves working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to monitor and interpret neurophysiological data during surgery. The ideal candidate is experienced, certified, and willing to travel as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform intraoperative neuromonitoring (IOM) during surgeries to protect neural structures.
- Set up and calibrate neurophysiological monitoring equipment.
- Monitor and interpret neurophysiological data in real-time, providing immediate feedback to the surgical team.
- Document and report monitoring results accurately and comprehensively.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Travel to various locations in New York, with occasional travel to New Jersey.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals.
Qualifications:
- Certified in Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM).
- Proven experience in intraoperative neuromonitoring.
- Willingness to travel to multiple office locations in New York and occasionally to New Jersey.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Male candidates preferred but not required.
Schedule:
- Full-time position with variable hours depending on surgical schedules.
