Hours: Mon - Fri Day shifts - will confirm if 4x10s or 5x8s.

Responsbilities include:

Operating Room Support

• Assist RN in implementing care plans and performing scrub duties while maintaining aseptic technique.

• Anticipate surgeon needs, manage instruments and supplies, and ensure patient safety.

• Position and transport patients to/from OR and assist with procedure preparation.

• Monitor and assist with sponge/sharp counts and follow infection control policies.

Room & Equipment Preparation

• Set up and turn over OR rooms, clean surfaces, and check equipment functionality.

• Open supplies aseptically and assist in daily room prep and cleanup post-procedure.

• Maintain anesthesia carts and prepare procedure rooms for the following day.

Sterilization & Supply Management

• Decontaminate, sterilize, and wrap instruments following AAMI and manufacturer guidelines.

• Stock and monitor inventory; report shortages or defects and assist with orders.

Administrative & Miscellaneous

• Check and prepare case carts, copy/distribute daily schedules, and assist with chart prep.

• Support PACU, wet lab demos, and interact with patients to ensure comfort and safety.

• Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with vendor coordination in Lead Tech’s absence.
